Subscription Description
- Trest's Solar Controller consists of a Raspberry Pi and an SD card sold to the buyer as a one-time cost, which includes the SD card.
- The device is intended to retrieve data from the user's Sungrow inverter using a "WiNet" module. To ensure the device functions properly, a subscription to the software provided by Trest is required.
- The device will communicate with the inverter and adjust its settings to adapt to different energy modes. Energy modes may include features such as "discharge" or "charge," and additional energy modes may be added over time.
User Terms
The user is only allowed to use the device with communication through the API to the device's web server. The user must not attempt to log in or access the device's software. The OpenAPI is open, and all requests can be used, but if the subscription has expired, the device will not respond to API calls.
Price and Payment
- The monthly fee for the service is 50 SEK per month. Discounts may be available if the user chooses to purchase a subscription package for 6 or 12 months.
- All billing and payments will be processed through Stripe or another agreed-upon payment method.
Term and Termination
- There is no fixed term for the subscription. The user can terminate the subscription at any time.
- The subscription will continue to be valid until 1 month after the most recent payment if the subscription is terminated. If the user has purchased a subscription package for 6 or 12 months, the subscription will be terminated 6 or 12 months after the most recent payment if the subscription is terminated.
Ownership and Responsibility
The device is wholly owned by the buyer. Only the software is owned by Trest. If the device malfunctions, the buyer is fully responsible for repairs.
Data Protection and Privacy
The data collected by Trest includes only account information to manage the buyer's device and to link the device to the software. No data is shared with other companies or authorities and can be deleted at any time at https://trest.se/Home/Mypage.
Warranties
No warranties apply to the device. If Sungrow publishes an update that prevents the device from communicating with the WiNet module, there is no guarantee that the software will function as intended.
User Support
Users can seek support by emailing [email protected], but there is no Service Level Agreement (SLA) determining response times for support.
Refunds
We do not provide refunds.
Changes to the Agreement
User terms may change over time and will be communicated via email when changes occur for all users.
