Description of the Service

Trest's Solar Controller (referred to as the "Device") is designed to regularly retrieve data from your Sungrow inverter using a "WiNet" module for communication.

A subscription to the software is required for the Device to function correctly. Without an active subscription, the software will stop working.

The Device will communicate with the inverter and adjust its settings to adapt to different energy modes. Energy modes may include functions like "discharge" or "charge," and additional energy modes may be added over time.

Usage and Communication

Users are only allowed to use the Device through communication with its API to the Device's web server.

Users must not attempt to log in or access the software running on the Device.

The OpenAPI is open, and all requests are allowed. If the subscription expires, the Device will not respond to API calls.

Monthly Fee and Payment

The monthly fee for the service is 50 SEK per month. Discounts are available if you purchase a package for 6 or 12 months.

All invoices and payments are processed through Stripe.

Subscription Agreement

There is no fixed term for the subscription, but it will continue to be valid until 1 month after the last payment if not canceled.

If you have purchased a 6- or 12-month package, the subscription will be terminated 6 or 12 months after the last payment if not canceled.

You can always modify or cancel the subscription.

Ownership and Repairs

The Device is fully owned by the buyer, while the software is owned by Trest. If the Device malfunctions, the buyer is responsible for repairs.

Data Protection and Privacy

Data collected by Trest is used solely for managing user accounts and linking devices to the software.

No user data is shared with other companies or authorities and can be deleted at any time by visiting See our privacy policy at for more information.


There are no warranties for the Device. If Sungrow releases updates that prevent the Device from communicating with the WiNet module, there is no guarantee that the software will function as intended.

User Support

Users can receive support by emailing [email protected]. There is no Service Level Agreement (SLA) that determines response times for support.


We do not provide refunds.

Changes to the Agreement

User terms may change over time and will be communicated via email to all users when there are changes.
